Kathleen Dolan is Vice President of Moran Consulting and the firm’s operations leader, helping organizations turn complex challenges into practical solutions that can be implemented and sustained.
Since becoming Vice President in 2017, Kathleen has played a central role in leading Moran’s client engagements and the operations behind them. She works closely with clients and the Moran team on initiatives involving organizational assessment, employee engagement, culture change, leadership development, customer experience, process improvement, and organization-wide training and implementation.
Kathleen’s particular strength is connecting strategy with execution. She helps organizations move from understanding what is really happening to determining what needs to change – and then building the structure, engagement, tools and internal capability needed to put that change into practice.
Her work has included large-scale and multi-year initiatives across transportation, logistics, healthcare, government, utilities, manufacturing, higher education and other industries. These engagements have involved thousands of employees, multiple locations and departments, leadership teams, internal trainers and champions, customized standards and learning programs, process improvement, reinforcement and measurement.
As Moran’s operations leader, Kathleen helps ensure that each engagement is both highly customized and executable. She brings together the people, processes and details required to move complex work forward while keeping the focus on the larger goal: meaningful organizational change that lasts.
Kathleen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communications from St. Louis University in Missouri, and went on to achieve an MBA at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Kathleen lived and worked abroad for 10 years and is fluent in Spanish.
